The Filipino
Ministry is an unincorporated association and is not organized
and shall not be operated for pecuniary gain or profit.
The
property, assets, profits and net income are irrevocably dedicated for rreligious
purposes and no part of the profits or net income shall ever inure to the benefit of
any Director, trustee or member thereof or the benefit of any private individual.
The
Ministry, members of the Advisory Board, officers and ny other person
recognize the Ministry is under the ultimate control of thr Roman Catholic Bishop
of San Bernardino.
MEMBERS
Any individual Catholic
faithful who resides in the counties of San Bernardino
and Riverside is a member of the Ministry. The General Assembly of Catholic
Faithful in the diocese is welcomed and encouraged to participate and volunteer
their respective gifts and talents to further the mission of the Ministry.
ADVISORY
BOARD
A deliberative body to plan,
evaluate and develop policies, and to establish Ad Hoc
committees. Also acts as an advisory body to the Bishops of the Diocese, and
serves as a resource group. Composed of three (3) Ex-Officio Members, the Vicar
of Ethnic Affairs, Diocesan Director and a priest appointed by the Vicar of Ethnic
affairs (Priest Liason); eight (8) Directors-at-large; eight (8) Vicarial
Representatives appointed by the Bishops of the diocese.
